SeeSullivan is a boutique digital consulting and design studio located in the San Diego neighborhood of Golden Hill. Founded by Nate Beale, a classically trained graphic designer and former carpenter, the studio is named after his beloved dog, Sully.
Since 2004, Nate has collaborated on projects ranging from high-end wedding invitations to in-house marketing pieces and various publications. For the past several years the focus has been on sports book publishing, having designed and produced over 25 titles for various MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, and NCAA teams. Along with a strong background in design, his production knowledge is extensive and something he takes pride in. Designing a beautiful piece is only part of the equation. Collaboration with the client and knowing how a piece is produced from start to finish are just as crucial to the process.
While the focus of SeeSullivan is digital and print design, product photography and furniture refinishing are other services that fall under the brand. The location, aptly called Studio on C, is a small garage turned multipurpose workspace. There's a variety of seamless backgrounds, an overhead camera rig, studio lights, and power tools to handle various projects. The space also plays host to pop-up ping pong tournaments for all in the neighborhood to enjoy.
